China makes the overwhelming majority of the world's RC cars. For an overseas distributor that's good news — but the brand names blur together, and many "brands" actually come out of the same OEM factories. Here's how we read the landscape in 2026 when helping buyers choose what to stock.
1. MJX (Hyper Go) — the brushless value king
MJX's Hyper Go brushless line (1/14–1/18, 4WD, ~40 km/h) is our most-recommended wholesale line for a reason: strong performance at an aggressive price, and — crucially — spare parts are actually available. For most overseas markets it's the safest first bet. See our MJX Hyper Go Wholesale Guide.
2. WLtoys — established and wide-ranging
A long-time name with models from 1/28 up to 1/10, including popular drift and high-speed cars. Solid mid-tier choice where brand recognition helps the sale. Good complement to MJX if you want two brushless lines side by side.
3. HBX (Huan Qi) — budget RTR volume
HBX sells ready-to-run cars at entry price points. Margin per unit is thinner, but volume is high and they make an easy "impulse" shelf item. Best for mass retail and marketplace sellers rather than specialty hobby shops.
4. HAIBOXING — quality/price sweet spot
HAIBOXING's 1/16–1/18 brushless cars punch above their price and appeal to younger buyers and gift purchases. A good "second line" that doesn't cannibalise your MJX hero SKUs.
5. DEERC, Double E & giftable brands
These sit at the affordable, giftable end — easy to list on Amazon, Temu-adjacent shelves and toy departments. Lower technical expectation from buyers, so QC bar is about "arrives working," not "track-ready."
6. The private-label reality

7. Which line for which market
- US / EU hobby shops: MJX Hyper Go + WLtoys brushless — performance buyers.
- Mass retail / marketplace: HBX, DEERC, Double E — giftable and price-led.
- Enthusiast channels: 1/10 kits and crawler lines for the upgrade crowd.
8. The distributor's edge: don't marry one factory
